Camp Saint Isaac Jogues
CSIJ 2019 Theme
“Bonum certamen certavi, cursum consummavi, fidem servavi.” 2 Timothy 4:7
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Camp St. Isaac Jogues is a summer camp hosted by priests and seminarians of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter for Catholic young men ages 13-15 years old.
Why should you send your son to Camp Saint Isaac Jogues?
To grow in FAITH, to make FRIENDS, to have FUN.
This unique opportunity will attempt to inspire future men of Christ under the patronage of one of the most heroic martyrs of our land. In order to optimize the camping experience and provide for more lasting memories, this year we will be accepting a more limited number of campers. Please apply early in order to secure a spot. Because of the limited camp size, the admissions committee will be taking into account various factors when they review applications including: previous camp enrollment, age, etc.
We hope to provide the next generation of Catholic young men with a firm spiritual foundation that will help support them for the rest of their lives.
Note to parents:
Boys who are sent to Camp St. Isaac Jogues will not be permitted to contact home/parents by phone or email (except in cases of necessity) during the course of the camp. Letters will be permitted and encouraged, and care packages may be received by the boys at any time (private snacks and treats are not allowed, so any food brought to camp will become a community snack; please send appropriate proportions). No cell-phones, i-pods, laptops, MP3s, CD players, radios, or any other electronic device will be permitted at Camp St. Isaac Jogues at any time. Parents will be provided with the phone and email contact info of the director in case there is a serious need to contact their child. Also, we can only provide transportation to and from the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Airport (AVP) for campers who are flying. We cannot admit any exceptions to this policy, so please plan accordingly.
Please fill out the application attached below. Please make sure to have the application filled out completely. The cost for one child is $450. Please ensure the check is mailed with the application (N.B. checks sent for applications that are not accepted will be disposed of properly)
